Electric Smart radiators, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Public car park, £11.50 per week Easter-Oct, 200 yards. No smoking.. Aptly named, Seascape will have you enthralled with its bird’s eye view of New Quay harbour, the beach, and the breathtaking views across Cardigan Bay. With a drink in hand and watching the boats bobbing about, it’s hard to think of a better place to be! You may even spot the resident bottlenose dolphins that are so frequently seen in this part of Cardigan Bay. From the full-height windows found in the sleek kitchen/dining room, light floods into this third floor contemporary apartment, which benefits from an open-plan living space. Seascape is very well situated, and you will find an array of little shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs almost on the doorstep. Being by the sea, there are plenty of seafood options, but enjoying fish and chips or an ice cream is a wondeful, casual al fresco option whilst perched on the harbour wall! There are boat trips if you want to get closer to see the marine life, and from the sea you can really appreciate how the town clings to the rocks, as well as admire the long, sandy beach of Cei Bach. It’s not hard to understand why poet Dylan Thomas found this place such an inspiration for his creativity whilst he lived here. If you can tear yourself away from New Quay, explore the other things that the 60 miles of the Cerdigion coastline has to offer. There’s the coastal path itself, and no shortage of beaches either. Try the secluded National Trust cove of Cwmtydu, where seal pups can often be seen during the autumn months. Close by is New Quay Honey Farm, with its tea rooms and shop selling honey and beeswax. The colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is nearby and is worth a visit, as is the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron. Visit the coastal towns of Aberystwyth or Cardigan, both an easy drive away, or venture inland to the market towns of Lampeter, Tregaron or Newcastle Emlyn. When you’ve finished exploring you’ll probably be keen to get back to the apartment, enjoy a glass of wine, and continue being mesmerised by the ever-changing vista. Escape to Seascape! Beach 40 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 20 yards. Free WiFi There are 57 steps upto this 3rd floor apartment. public car park open Easter to October at £11.50 per week
