Summary: North Cottage is a superb two-bedroom holiday home situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Alderton from where you can explore the best of the Suffolk countryside and coastline. The village itself is a five-minute drive from Bawdsey, an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Deben Peninsula with a small, sandy beach with access across the mouth of the River Deben to Felixstowe Ferry via the foot ferry. Shingle Street is a 10-minute drive and the hamlet of Ramsholt, with its famous pub, The Ramsholt Arms that overlooks the river, is only five minutes away. The beautiful market town of Woodbridge is just under a 20-minute drive away where there is a wide variety of boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as a cinema, train station and scenic walks along the River Deben. The cottage has been comfortably furnished with a cosy open-plan living and dining room at the front of the property that leads into a well-equipped kitchen at the rear with access out into the back garden. There is a family bathroom located downstairs next to the kitchen with a shower bath, wash basin and WC. Upstairs there are two fantastic bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and dressing table, and the second one with two singles which can be made into a double if required, a chest of drawers and bedside tables.
