Nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire in the market town of Northallerton, Romanby Cottage is a stylish holiday home. Recently refurbished, the property boasts a cosy living room, living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, five bedrooms, an ensuite shower room and a family bathroom. Perfect for family staycations or getaways with friends, Romanby Cottage will provide a comfortable base to explore North Yorkshire. On the ground floor, you’ll find a welcoming living room with comfy sofas and a flat screen TV. Ideal for relaxing, you can snuggle up with your loved ones and keep up with your favourite shows. Also on this floor is the dining room which includes a dining table, modern dining chairs and a sofa. Towards the rear of the property is the kitchen. Beautifully designed, the kitchen is navy in colour and features modern appliances so you can prepare meals easily during your stay. Take the stairs up to the first floor and there are four bedrooms as well as the family bathroom. The first bedroom boasts a king size bed, the second is double and the third and fourth bedrooms have a single bed in each room. With vintage style tiles, a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin, the family bathroom is clean and sophisticated. Upstairs on the second floor, you’ll find the final bedroom. This room has sloped ceilings, exposed beams and wall cladding to create a truly stylish look. A double bed and an ensuite shower room complete the space. Outside you'll find an enclosed back yard with composite decking and a decorative wooden fence. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Please note that the stairs at Romanby Cottage are quite steep and may not be suitable for certain people. We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Romanby Cottage is located in the bustling market town of Northallerton. Located in the heart of North Yorkshire, you’ll be able to visit the nearby moors, villages and cities easily during your stay. There are beautiful buildings throughout Northallerton as the town has a rich and varied history. Today it’s a vibrant mix of restaurants, traditional tea rooms, pubs and bars. If you enjoy shopping, there are high street favourites as well as independent retailers so there is a great variety for you to choose from. Markets take place every Wednesday and Saturday where you can purchase fresh local produce and discover plenty of independent stall holders. Step outside of Northallerton and you’ll have the Dales and the Moors at your fingertips. The nearby picturesque village of Osmotherley is close to the Cleveland Way, the Coast to Coast path and the Lyke Wake Walk. Northallerton train station is a short 8 minute walk from the cottage and there are regular routes to Newcastle, Manchester Piccadilly, London Kings Cross and Edinburgh. There are a number of bus routes through Northallerton. Hop on the number 70 route which has stops in Thirsk and Ripon. The 72 bus route travels to Darlington and the 80, 89 bus has stops in Osmotherley, Great Broughton, Potto and Stokesley.
