It would only be about a 5-minute walk to the hospital and train station and about a mile from the Bedford mainline. PARKING: There is limited on-street parking: Free from 6PM till 8AM on Mondays to Saturdays and all day on Sundays. Otherwise, the on-street parking is for permit holders only (or metered parking is available for 4 hours maximum, outside of the free times). There is a regular bus service from the town centre to Cranfield University and the X5 is a regular bus service to Oxford and Cambridge. Drivers: Parking directly outside the property is restricted to permit holders only (or paid parking at a meter for a maximum of 4 hours at a time) – please do not park here without a valid license to do so, as the wardens do visit regularly! Buses: As you come out of the apartment and turn left, a minute walk will take you to Ampthill Road, which has bus stops on either side of the road. Trains: Bedford St John’s train station is a 5 minute walk away, as you turn left onto Ampthill Road, from the apartment.
