Graton Getaway Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' A wonderful location within walking distance of tasting rooms, excellent restaurants, and the very heart of town, this home in Graton provides an extraordinary Sonoma County experience. In this beautiful pocket of wine country, you'll also be a short and scenic drive from the banks of the Russian River, the wild ocean coast, and a number of other charming towns. This garden property sits on a quiet cul-de-sac that it shares with only three other houses. The center of downtown Graton is a two-block walk south, where you'll find several renowned tasting rooms (Bowman Cellars, Paul Mathew Co., Sonoma Wine Company) and restaurants (Willow Wood Market Cafe, Underwood Bar and Bistro). You'll also be a few blocks west of Route 116 (which is lined with world-class wineries), about 50 yards from the popular West County Regional Bike Trail (with access just down Blessies Path and across Ross Road), and a lovely drive from such beloved stretches of sand as Doran Beach and Salmon Creek State Beach on the ocean coast between Bodega Bay and Jenner. As you return home from your daily tasting room appointments, you'll be greeted by hardwood and carpeted floors and two distinct sitting areas - a front parlor with a flatscreen Roku TV and an open living room warmed by a gas fireplace. This main living area is a great place to play card games at a dining room table that can seat up to 8 or prepare homemade meals in the open kitchen using a large prep island and appliances that include a gas range, a double-drawer refrigerator, and a dishwasher for easy clean-up. The sliding doors lead outside to the garden patio, where you can nap in the hammock in the afternoons, dine al fresco each evening, and soak away any lingering stress in the hot tub. When it's time to turn in, you'll have four bedrooms to choose from. There's a primary suite with direct access to the back patio, an en suite bathroom, and a large walk-in closet. The second and third bedrooms are spacious and well-furnished for couples or individuals. The fourth bedroom is ideal for children (or a child and an adult), offering a twin-over-full bunk bed with thick futon mattresses, a dollhouse, and a toy kitchen for the kids to enjoy. Other child-friendly amenities include a unique and entertaining collection of indoor and outdoor toys, games, and a library of children's books for all ages.
