You will find our apartment in Sensweiler, a rural community on the German gemstone road, in the middle of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park The lovingly furnished, bright apartment is located on the first floor of our apartment building and offers an excellent starting point for extensive hiking tours on the very well signposted dream loops in the Saarland-Hunsrück hiking region. The central location of the apartment enables our guests to travel relatively short distances to attractive destinations. The gem city of Idar-Oberstein can be reached in 15 minutes by car. But a trip to the Moselle wine region, with its many castles and small, rustic wine towns, is also highly recommended and can be reached in 30 minutes. The oldest city in Germany, Trier, is 50 km away and definitely worth a trip. Hahn Airport is about a 20-minute drive from our house. The equipment of the apartment includes: a flat screen, free WiFi, a new, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee machine, information material on various hiking tours and tourist attractions. You can also use the large garden with a barbecue, outdoor seating and garden loungers. A washing machine and dryer can be used, after prior agreement.
