There are two flights of stairs leading up to the condo. Bed Configuration: Bedroom #1 - Queen bed with full bath  Bedroom #2 - Queen bed with twin bunk bed Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango near downtown condominium is a great choice to stay in a spacious, comfortable, and cozy vacation rental home. A five minute drive reaches Historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment.   Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes visitors to Purgatory Resort and the high San Juan Mountains.  Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40 minute drive to the West.  The Fort Lewis College campus is a 3-minute drive away. Inside the one-level home, is a large, open living room with flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace. Included in the living room is a queen size sleeper sofa, recliner, additional seating and reading lamps. A full bath, which services the second bedroom and the living area, is located in the hallway immediately adjacent to bedroom 2.  Full sized washer and dryer are inside this condo on the main level, in the hallway between the bedrooms. Outside the front entry to this home, is a private and covered balcony, with outdoor furniture to provide outdoor living space. Two flights of stairs lead up to this home. The community hot tub and heated swimming pool are located a short walk away, and the pool deck has plenty of room for lounging.  Also at the pool area are multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space for fun and enjoyment without having to leave the grounds. Easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND. Hillcrest Golf Club, Durango’s premier public golf course, is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
