Situated mere minutes from Tenants Harbor Village and Port Clyde Village, this home is ideal for those who want to explore the area. Many people love to bike, walk, and jog on this winding, tree-lined street. Although the house is newly constructed, the classic design and attention to detail will make you feel as if you've walked into a well-preserved summer home loved for generations. Large windows, French doors, and a lengthy deck with a cable railing system all work to maintain the incredible views. The great room houses the dining room and the sunken, more formal family room, where you'll find plenty of seating around a large fireplace and a flatscreen TV. This room also opens onto the largest part of the deck, furnished with abundant outdoor seating. The kitchen is a lovely melding of old and new, offering a deep sink, granite countertops, a large peninsula for food preparation, a gas stovetop, a wall oven, a dishwasher, and a warming drawer. The kitchen overlooks a small, informal dining area with seating for four that's perfect for breakfast. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with an amazing antique soapstone utility sink. The primary bedroom is on the first floor and occupies the left wing of the house, featuring lovely furnishings and a private bathroom with double sinks, a jetted soaking tub, a custom walk-in shower with a rain showerhead, heated towel racks, and a bidet. The downstairs section of the second wing of the house has a half-bath, two bedrooms, and a full bath. Upstairs is a wonderful, well-planned space affectionately called the Bunk Room. Enjoy semi-private sleeping spaces, a family room area with couches and chairs, a large flatscreen TV, and a bathroom/dressing room with a clawfoot tub with a shower and a bidet.
