On road parking. No smoking. . Moatside, refurbished in 2019, is a well presented end terrace cottage situated just off the centre of Brampton. Moatside is a comfortable cottage, perfect for a small family or couple. There is a living room and kitchen on the ground floor, and bedrooms and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath on the first floor. The cottage is within a few yards of most amenities in the centre of town, and has a small courtyard to the rear, perfect for sitting out or dining al fresco. There are some lovely dog walks just up the lane behind the house on the Moat. Moatside really is the perfect location to take a stroll into the centre of town and sample the many good restaurants and pubs. With so much to do and see in the area, this property could not be better placed. A must is a trip to Talkin Tarn Country Park, 2 miles from Brampton, with its 65-acre lake set amid 120 acres of farmland and woodland. The Tarn is an ideal place for recreation or a quiet stroll through the mature woodlands. Lanercost Priory is also within close proximity and whilst there, enjoy afternoon tea or lunch at the café where your dog is welcome too. No stay in Cumbria is complete without visiting Hadrian’s Wall, an iconic monument built by the Romans. Stretching 73 miles from Wallsend near Newcastle, across the neck of England to the Solway in North West Cumbria. Take a drive and within 20 minutes you can be in the beautiful border city of Carlisle, with its array of high street shopping. Within 30 minutes you could be over the border into Scotland or the Lake District National Park. Shop and restaurant 20 yards, pub 50 yards. Free WiFi There is one step to the property.
