On the wooded hills of Pierrerue, 25 minutes from Béziers, discover this charming holiday home with its own private pool. It is very peaceful and has a gorgeous view of the renowned vineyard of Saint-Chinian. This picturesque village (2Km away) that can be seen from the villa. On the 1st floor you will have a spacious living room to enjoy, equipped with air conditioning. The living room opens onto two covered terraces with panoramic views. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The exterior is filled with typical Mediterranean trees and plants. Outside you will also find the very beautiful private swimming pool with a shaded terrace, nestled by the trees. Also for your use a summer kitchen equipped with a sink and barbecue. There is also a charming independent flat entirely equipped with all the mod cons. The living rooms and pool are only accessible by a small flight of stairs, so not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Saint-Chinian is an adorable village where its inhabitants enjoy a simple life, filled with small squares, lined with luscious trees and quaint streets. Do not miss out on visiting the local market on Thursdays, to enjoy locally grown fruits and vegetables, regional cheeses, olives, oysters and other local produce. Take the opportunity to visit the beautiful gardens of the Town Hall, enlivened with magnolia trees. The surroundings offer exceptional cultural sites, such as an old Benedictine Abbey and cloisters, a parish church and listed organs, the village bread oven and the Abbé's canal. Many hikes routes are available for lovers of nature, such as the Circuits des Capitelles. This southern region produces excellent wines, predominantly reds and rosés, which are celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of July, with village fete. The local vines can be seen growing on the hill slopes facing the sea, at an altitude between 100-200m. You will be just an hour from Valras, with more than 4 kilometres of fine sandy beaches in the city centre, which are easily accessible to anyone with disabilities. There you will have the choice of a number of secured activities and free entertainment throughout the summer. Valras prides itself on being the essential seaside resort of the county of Hérault, famous for its unique stilt houses built on the sand. Valras also offers a wilder beach on the banks of the Orb, where stand some of the highest dunes of the Mediterranean, in the protected site of "Orpellières".
