The beach is perfect for families, playing in the sandy pools, building sandcastles or beach tennis and body boarding. Dogs are permitted along the beach all year round, with an area designated dog-free during the summer months. Nearby places of historical interest include Blicking Hall (NT), Sheringham Park, and Cromer pier with its end of pier show.
