Summary: Our beautifully updated camper, aka "Glamper," situated on the rushing Saluda River, is superbly outfitted for comfort and relaxation. This dreamy getaway is equipped with a nice bathroom, efficiency kitchen, queen bed, cozy living room, and private bunk-room. The beautiful property will take your breath away and is the perfect place to unwind. Depending on the season, we offer fun river activities through Saluda Outdoor Center and 13 Stripes brewery has dining options onsite. PLEASE NOTE: While the Sassafras does have heat it is a camper and can be seasonally chilly. Please pack accordingly. Each firepit will have complimentary firewood. We will also give you fire starters and matches. If you would like to purchase more firewood, you may do so at the office. Each bundle will be $5 each. The Space: You will feel pampered and enamored with this clean, equipped, and comfortable 30 ft camper. Every inch has been restored and modernized to help our guests enjoy their stay. No matter how you spend your time here, you will make special memories on the river. PLEASE NOTE: While the Sassafras does have heat it is a camper and can be seasonally chilly. Please pack accordingly. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times and you must pick up after them. Please note, pet owners will be responsible for any damage and or special cleaning. The Neighborhood: The "Glamper" is located on the property of the Saluda Outdoor Center (SOC), where we also have several tiny houses available as short-term and long-term rentals. On the other side of the property, there are "glamping" structures, tent camping options, and community fire pits. The music stage may host various artists to perform for guests visiting SOC and the on-site brewery and eatery. In warmer months, SOC has a river tubing operation and is an outfitter for kayaking, paddle-boarding, and shore fishing (with license and at permitted times). If you want to explore the area, our location is ideal. We are less than 5 miles from Falls Park in downtown Greenville; five minute drive to the Village of West Greenville (Art District); 2.5 miles to Greenville/Pickens Speedway; 5 miles to Easley; 25 miles to Clemson University; 5 miles to Swamp Rabbit Trail; 30 minutes to Table Rock State Park...and much more! No matter what you decide, to stay around or venture out, you're sure to have a wonderful adventure! Getting Around: We recommend that you provide your own vehicle, as there is no public transportation to our facility. Uber, Lyft, and local Taxi service will accommodate this location, if that's preferred. This area is rich with hiking and biking trails, but will still require transportation to access trail entrances. Interaction with Guests: Katie, our on-site manager, will be your next door neighbor and is available to answer any questions you may have. The number is 864-777-3053 ext 2.
