Come and stay in this beautiful barn conversion which has recently been converted into a luxury one bedroom holiday let in 2021. The owners wanted to create luxurious, comfortable accommodation for a couple wishing to enjoy a getaway together. This single storey detached barn sits within fields and meadows within a rural setting, yet close to the village centre and all its amenities. The flagstone flooring inside continues from the property out to the patio, where you can sit and admire the views of the village up the hill. With sheep and water buffalo as neighbours and plenty of other wildlife to watch and enjoy, this relaxing and quiet barn conversion will be somewhere to revisit time and time again. A short walk down the drive, almost next door is Napton Cidery, a family run cider mill where you can sample, watch and purchase great cider or just enjoy a pint from their tap room; they have an excellent ploughman’s lunch to go with it! Want to visit a "real pub?" then head down to the local inn, only 0.3 miles away where you can enjoy a drink with the locals and have some wholesome food. The village also boasts a well-stocked village shop, wonderful walks in the countryside and along Oxford Canal where you can watch the barges sail past on this busy waterway. Just over 3 miles is the market town of Southam in south Warwickshire, situated on the River Stowe, offering a selection of shops, cafés, pubs, amenities and regular markets, and has a rich heritage and interesting architecture, including a mix of Tudor and 17th century buildings. There is much to do and see in the area including visits to the National Trust properties in the area, and car enthusiasts can visit the British Motor Museum at Gaydon. The interesting and historic towns of Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Stratford Upon Avon are all within easy reach and are great days out for castles, historic houses, shopping and plenty of lovely eateries. Further afield you can get to the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with many pretty villages to see within 30-40 minutes’ drive. Make your visit extra special, and speak to the owner who can arrange afternoon teas and ploughman lunches from the local farm shop for your arrival (additional cost). Free WiFi 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country).
