This neighborhood is better known as JBR and offers apartments by one of Dubai’s most popular public beaches. There are a lot of exciting go-to places in this area because The Walk, The Beach, and The Bluewaters Island are all located here together. Incredible graffiti murals and modern art pieces decorate JBR along its famous walk – simply known as The Walk. It is an ideal place to enjoy the outdoor shopping mall, located right next to the beach, and to take some amazing pictures while visiting Dubai. The best part is that JBR has a vast variety of hotels, making it super tourist-friendly. The Beach refers to the beach resort itself complete with activities that are available to anyone from beach-side dining and shopping to wakeboarding, parasailing, banana boat rides, and camel rides. There is also a 600-m running track, an outdoor gym, and a volleyball court for those who enjoy jogging alongside the beach and those who want to keep up with their fitness. The Bluewaters Island is where the Dubai Eye is located - the upcoming biggest ferris wheel in the world, expected to be completed in 2019. This island is still in development, but will include entertainment, residential, and many more that will attract visitors. The parking is available upon request if you have your own ride. Taxis, on the other hand, are parked just downstairs to take you anywhere in Dubai. Uber and Careem are also options for hailing a taxi. If you enjoy long walks and would like to explore the rest of Dubai through a metro station, the Jumeirah Beach Residence 2 tram station is a 5-minute walk. This connects to the main metro station that can get you around in Dubai. Guests will have full access to the facilities within the residence including Wi-Fi, gym and swimming pool.
