All on the ground floor. Living room: With electric coal-effect fire, 42" Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player. Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Bedroom 1: With double bed. Bedroom 2: With twin beds. Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Doggy extras.. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in one area of the garden.. Discover this delightful, semi-detached, single-storey holiday cottage in the quiet and peaceful village of Craigrothie. There are some lovely walks in this rural part of Fife, and from your doorstep you can enjoy a country walk to the forest of National Trust Hill of Tarvit Mansion House. The picture-postcard East Neuk of Fife, with its fishing villages and award winning sandy beaches, are all within easy driving distance. The historic St Andrews is only 9 miles away, with a good selection of restaurants, bars, cafés, numerous visitor attractions including the Sea Life Centre and golf courses. The area is renowned for its golf, and there are some fine courses close by, including a 9-hole course, using traditional ‘hickory clubs’. The conservation village of Ceres is just over 1 mile away has the Fife Folk Museum, a dog friendly pub, a hotel serving food, tea rooms, an antique shop, a family butchers, village store and the renowned Wemyss Ware Pottery. Scotland’s oldest highland games are held in Ceres on the last Saturday in June. Fife Falconry Centre, Scottish Deer Centre, Tents Muir National Nature Reserve and numerous beach and forest walks in the area are just a few of the local attractions. If you wish to travel further afield, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth and Stirling are all within an hour’s drive. The Cottage has been thoughtfully furnished for comfort and ease, and the enclosed garden is just the spot in which to relax after a day exploring the area. Beach 7½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles. Free WiFi There is 1 step to front door, non to the side door and 3 steps in the garden, but also accessible without the need for the steps.
