Summary: A quintessential farm house situated in a stunning mature woodland location, with spectacular surroundings. The charm of the working farm makes this the perfect family escape to enjoy a relaxing retreat or to explore the local attractions in nearby Beaconsfield, Windsor and The Chilterns! Guests are welcomed with a hamper filled with local farm produce, can arrange a tour of the farm and neighbouring winery (Mon-Thurs only), take a dip in the pool or hot tub or even put our concierge to the test for a more bespoke experience. The Space: The inside of New Barn Farm features a beautiful, open-plan kitchen equipped with a double oven, large American-style refrigerator, and an assortment of appliances. A beautiful, teak breakfast table sits in the centre of the room; perfect for lazy mornings. Past the kitchen you will find a spacious dining area, adjoined by double doors leading out to the stunning patio. Follow the striking Tudor beams of the dining room just a step further into the house to be greeted by a large, comfortable living area, home entertainment, and corner sofa for you to lounge on to your heart’s content. Beyond the log burner lies another living area, this time adorned by a large traditional fireplace. The cosy, sloped ceilings and exposed timber frame, coupled with the glowing warmth of the crackling fire makes this the ideal spot for an afternoon or evening of relaxation. There are 4 double bedrooms in total, all of which are light, spacious, and have ample storage. The property also contains 4 bathrooms. Just outside of the house sits a large patio and seating area with stunning views across the garden. Within the garden itself you can find additional seating areas to utilise on those beautiful sunny days, as well as vast space for children to play or dogs to run around in. The garden also benefits from a large built-in swimming pool, complete with its own roof to ensure that you can swim or play in any weather. Bedroom 1 & 2 have en suites. Bedroom 3 & 4 share a 'Jack & Jill' bathroom. There is a bathroom on the ground floor. Guest Access: Please note that there is a small cottage attached the main house, this has use of a separate driveway and outdoor space. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and can be hired alongside the house if more space is required, please get in touch for more information. Guests may make a separate reservation for the adjoining 2 bedroom cottage, increasing the maximum capacity by 4 additional people. The Neighborhood: Local villages are: Chalfont St Giles with a Coop supermarket and local shops. Seer Green with two fantastic pubs, the Jolly Cricketer and The Three Horseshoes and local shops. An array of restaurants, bars, etc. can be found down the road, and the nearby ‘Old Beaconsfield’ is a piece of old-fashioned rural England complete with old coaching inns, one-of-a-kind shops, and the oldest pub in Britain. Step out just a bit further still to find yourself amongst The Chilterns - a stunning part of the country, and designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ There’s no shortage of charming sights to see or interesting things to do around the area in which you’ll stay. Windsor and Eton are only a short journey away, where you can explore The Castle or take in the sights on The Long Walk.
