There are spectacular coastal walks and amazing sunsets. Within a short flat walk to the heart of the village where you will find shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Ilogan Woods, adjacent to Portreath, with streams and a circular walk leading to the 14th-century church tower at Ilogan. The Mineral Tramway Cycle Trail starts at Portreath and continues for 11 miles through the beautiful Cornish countryside to Devoran on the south coast. Cycles can be hired close by. Portreath is a perfect location for touring Cornwall, just 3 miles from the main A30 providing easy access to Penzance, St Ives, Lands End, Falmouth and The Lizard Peninsula.
