Balamar is a spacious detached bungalow in an elevated position, which allows spectacular panoramic views across open fields to the sea and Scottish hills. It is situated in the little village of Crosscannonby, ½ mile from the sand and shingle beach between Allonby and Maryport. Allonby is a typical quaint seaside town with surf bar, cafes and ice cream parlour and Maryport has a harbour, marina and more amenities. The accommodation is stylishly furnished, with a mix of modern and antique, and has excellent facilities, with 3 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and ample parking. Although there are a couple of steps into the bungalow, once inside the accommodation is all on ground floor and with the benefit of a wet room guests with mobility problems will find it most convenient. The garden is a peaceful haven for relaxation, with great views including stunning sunsets. The quiet country lanes in this peaceful corner of Cumbria are perfect for cycling and the nearby beach is ideal for walking the dog. Access to the Lake District is an easy 20 minute drive.
