Situated in the centre of Switzerland, Burgdorf is a nice little city, perfectly made for excursions and business in Berne, Zuerich, Basel and Luzerne. Burgdorf is also the gateway to Emmental, where also the famous cheese comes from. It is quiet and you can do almost everything on foot or by train, as the railway station is only a 5 minutes walk from home. You will have your own bathroom and a garden to use. The river and pool is perfect for swimming and within walking distance (10 minutes). Whatever you like to do, hiking, skiing, walking, swimming, horse riding, shopping, sightseeing, relaxing...you`ll find it around in walking distance. Emmental is a very natural place to stay while being in the heart of Switzerland. For your stay available are two spacious rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom on the top floor with separate toilet and one downstairs with everything you need during your stay. Of course you are welcomed to use the garden. If you need any help, just ask, as I am a worldwide traveller and mother of two kids, living in Switzerland for the past 17 years. Neighbourhood is very charming, quiet and everything you need is in 5 minutes distance, pool, cinemas, supermarkets, coffeshops and restaurants, landscape with forests, river and mountains. 5 minutes walk to mainstation which takes you to the capital Berne in 12 minutes and everywhere else like one hour to Zürich, Luzern, Basel. There might be our cat, mostly downstairs or out.
