Welcome to Carpos Villa, a brand new, high quality Villa, that redefines the concept of easy, every day, holiday living. This striking residence is located in an olive grove of 5.500 sq. m., giving you a sense of being surrounded by the Cretan nature. Offering total privacy but at the same time being very close to all kinds of shops and daily amenities, as well as being just a short driving distance from the famous, beautiful beaches of Stavros and Kalathas, this property satisfies even the more demanding guests. Layout The layout of Carpos Villa is perfect for big groups or families, as it offers easy indoor-outdoor access. The whole Villa is tastefully decorated in a minimal style, while attention was paid to every detail, aiming to make your every day as easy as possible. The two storey property, covers 240 m2 in total and can accommodate 10 guests in its 4 bedrooms. Ground Floor Entering the Villa, you will find yourselves in a spacious, open plan area consisted of the living room and kitchen. The living area features a comfortable corner sofa, 65’’ HDTV with Netflix, home cinema and bluetooth speaker as well as an indoor dining area, enjoying beautiful nature views of the olive trees, while the fully equipped kitchen provides all essentials for a self catered vacation. Large floor to ceiling windows and doors, provide ample lighting and easy access to the veranda, as well as pool and BBQ areas. Furthermore, a bedroom with double bed (1,60 X 2,00) and en-suite bathroom with shower cabin is also available on this floor. The bedroom has direct access to the lawn covered garden and a veranda equipped with chaise longues. All bedrooms and the living room are air conditioned, while lavish bathroom amenities are also available for our guests. First Floor Following the stairs to the upper level, you are welcomed by a smartly decorated hallway, with a large window and sitting area. The remaining three bedrooms of Carpos Villa can be found on this level. The master bedroom with a king sized double bed (1,80 X 2,00) and its en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a bathtub and shower cabin, is the epitome of luxury and comfort. It also provides access to a veranda equipped with patio furniture and stunning with country side and sea views. The other two bedrooms feature two singe beds each (0,90 X 2,00), which can also be set up as a king sized double bed (1,80 X 2,00) upon request. Both have en-suite bathrooms with shower cabins and stairs that lead to an attic, featuring an extra bed (1,00 X 2,00), making them ideal for couples with kids. Also, both of these bedrooms offer balcony access, boasting wonderful views of the surrounding olive groves, the sea and Chania town. Outdoor area The vast, beautifully landscaped, 5,500 sq.m. outdoor area of Carpos Villa offers a variety of facilities which include: - A private, 70 sq. m. heated swimming pool with (0,20 - 1,60 m. deep). The pool can be heated upon advance request, with an additional charge (please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice). - A separate children’s pool (0,45 m. deep) - Fully equipped, shaded, outdoor gas barbecue facilities - Shaded outdoor dining area - Outdoor WC and shower - Lawn covered area by the pool, ideal for the kids to play - Vegetable garden than you can enjoy our fresh vegetables - The whole outdoor area is fully fenced, offering total privacy and safety - Parking space for 4 cars inside the Villa premises - A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas, bean bag chairs, outdoor living room and hammock) for relaxing in the veranda, the gardens around the villa and the balconies. INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA Carpos Villa is located on Akrotiri peninsula, close to a small traditional village of Chorafakia. The villa is built in an olive grove, surrounded by nature very close to the sea! In Horafakia village you will be able to find a mini market, bakery, butcher, gas station, newsagent shop and some amazing traditional taverns which we will indicate you the exact location on your arrival. Furthermore 7 km away from the villa there is a bigger village called Kounoupidiana where you will be able to find any kind of shops you may need such as traditional taverns, pharmacy, medical center, post office and many more. Regarding Akrotiri area, there are some remarkable historical monuments, monasteries and churches, caves, the famous tombs of Venizelos and many places with archaeological interests. In addition, if you are looking for privileges that only a big city can offer, then Chania town is 14 km away and offers unique facilities and a wide variety of entertainment. The closest beach to the villa is Tersanas Beach, around 2.2 km from the villa and Stavros beach, around 2.8 km away from the villa. In Stavros village you will find two beaches. The main beach where “Zorbas” was filmed, is located in the east side of the village, at the foot of the mountain and has marvellous white sand and shallow turquoise waters. The second beach of Stavros is located in the north side of the village and has sand and rocks in places and is less organised than the first, but cleaner. Furthermore, on the west of Crete you will find some of the most amazing and famous beaches of Crete and Greece like “Phalasarna”, “Balos”, “Gramvousa”, and “Elafonisi”.
