Set in Burnham where an unspoilt 7 mile stretch of beach provides hours of fun, and many other coastal resorts of the north west are close by.. All on the ground floor. Open plan living space. Living area: With Smart TV with Netflix, DVD player and CD player. Kitchen area: With gas cooker, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Bedroom: With double bed. Shower room: With shower cubicle, and toilet.. Gas central heating, electricity and Wi-Fi included (£30per week, £20 per short break October-May, payable to the owner on arrival). Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with gravel and patio area with garden furniture. 1 small or medimum sized dog welcome. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: No children under 14 years old. This property is not suitable for wheelchair users.. Both properties: Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. These single-storey, detached holiday cottages (Ref UKC1559 and W42922) are located just minutes from Burnham on sea’s 7 mile stretch of sandy beach. This is an ideal place to walk your dogs in an unspoilt area of dunes, however a car is essential. The cottages are perfectly located for a visit to the spectacular scenery of nearby Cheddar Gorge where Channel 4 made a documentary (aired in 2017) about the 10,000 year old man who was found amongst its famous caves. Not far from this area is also the Wookey Hole Caves and the famous paper making mill, all of which sit quietly within the beauty of the Mendip hills. The ancient town of Wells with its magnificent cathedral is a 30-minute drive away and offers you stunning architecture and over 500 years of history. Together with the town of Glastonbury famous for its monastery, music festivals and holistic spiritual qualities, this is a relaxing area for your holiday. The Apex Park in Highbridge also offers a dog friendly walk around a lake whilst watching the local wildlife. The holiday cottages are within a small complex of four one bedroomed cottages, all of which have access to a small paddock to allow you to walk your dogs first thing in the morning and last thing at night without leaving the site. There are three dog friendly pubs all within 2 miles of the cottages, and supermarkets are only a 5 minutes’ drive away. The owners live on-site and are available at all times. Your welcome pack is a local supermarket gift card. The garden of The Piggery has a covered seating area with garden furniture. Any dog over a spaniel sized will be charged at £20 for the week £10 for the short break, payable to the owners on arrival at the owners’ discretion. A car is essential for a stay in the area. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 600 yards. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 4 guests. Free WiFi Winter fuel charge of £25 per week and £15 per short break, payable on arrival Oct to May. There is a small nursery operated by the owner in the grounds (not seen or accessible from the holiday cottages) A small or medium pet, any dog over this size the owner will charge £20. A no smoking policy is in place. Adult only cottage.
