This lovingly furnished holiday home offers a comfortable base from which to explore this picturesque part of Cumbria, and is situated just 500 yards away from the centre of Kendal, the historic market town famous for its mint cake. This cottage is in the perfect location for touring the Lake District National Park with Windermere being only 9 miles away. There are water sports or cruises on the lakes, mountain climbing in the Langdales and coastal walks on the Cumbrian Coastal Way, these are just a few of the many activities to be enjoyed in the area. There is a plethora of historic houses and gardens with Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and Cartmel, 12th-century priory, all a short drive away. The Yorkshire Dales National park is nearby with its historic market towns including Sedbergh 9 miles away. Kendal, known as the gateway to the Lakes is ideally situated for exploring Southern Lakeland and the Yorkshire Dales. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 60 yards.
