Visit the Tarbat Discovery Centre which provides visitors with an insight into the areas Pictish past and Tarbat Ness home to one of the tallest lighthouses in Britain. To the south visit Inverness, the Highland Capital, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George whilst to the north you can take a trip to experience the beautiful Dunrobin Castle in Golspie, visit the beautiful seaside town of Dornoch, or explore the vast expanses of unspoilt landscapes and rocky inlets of Sutherland and Caithness. Further afield, a trip to the Orkney Isles is recommended. Golf, mountain biking, sea trips and fishing and a large variety of watersports are just a few of the many activities available.
