The Space: There's plenty of room for guests to relax with family and friends in this modern split level beach house. Located in a central location on The Boulevard, only a few moments walk to the General Store, Cafe and Surf beach. The property features two queen sized bedrooms on the ground level, with a spacious central bathroom, and laundry with washing machine and bar fridge. Up the first half flight of stairs is the living area with leather armchairs, sofas and chaise lounges. A large sized TV with DVD player and surround sound system. Reverse cycle air conditioning and a glowing-coal electric heater to set the atmosphere. Upstairs is the well-equipped modern galley kitchen with an electric cooktop and oven, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of bench space. The kitchen has a window splash back overlooking the living area so youre able to cook dinner while watching TV. There's a balcony on this level as well, looking out across the trees around the property. An 8 seater dining table is in the centre of the room with two 2 seater couches on either side. Open up the sliding doors to the balcony to increase the size of the room while cooking on the Weber Q barbeque. There is also a reverse cycle air conditioner for those warmer days. On the top level there are 2 queen sized bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a flat screen TV. The light filled rooms overlook the tea tree which surrounds the property, making you feel as though youre amongst the trees. The house is tiled throughout keeping it cool throughout summer. Each bedroom (including downstairs bathroom) has direct external access. Guests must provide their own linen (sheets, doona covers, pillowcases and towels). Pets are welcome however the house isnt fenced. STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES or BUCKS/HENS NIGHTS PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking. Guest Access: You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys. The Neighborhood: Picturesque Sandy Point beach is a pleasant 3-minute walk away at Ned Neales with the patrolled beach 10 minutes’ walk from the house near the local milk bar. The Shallow Inlet, famous for wind surfing and fishing is a short 5-minute drive. Other Sandy Point recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the foreshore, the Surf Lifesaving Club, Children's Playgrounds, Tennis courts and a half basketball court. Numerous recreation and relaxation facilities are within reach such as golf courses, bush walks, fine restaurants and of course the South Gippsland's popular wineries and art galleries. Accessible to both Wilson's Promontory and South Gippsland the location makes it an easy drive to the popular Squeaky Beach, Waratah Bay, Inverloch and Port Franklin. Getting Around: Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquillity of Sandy Point. The Sandy Point milk bar provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop. More details on the house facilities and things to do in the area are available in the welcome pack at the house and provided upon booking. Other Things to Note: Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. This is unfortunately completely out of our control. Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems. Unless otherwise stated, you must bring your own linen, which includes towels, sheets, doona covers, pillowcases, face washers, beach towels, bathmats, and hand towels. While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. Interaction with Guests: Interaction with guests is usually by email and phone, however, we do have offices in Sandy Point and Foster.
