The house is in such a location that you can take a mudflat hiking right from the plot. Hand towels and kitchen towels are available free of cost. Baby bathtub is available in the house. The region around this cottage has a lot to offer. Explore the former island of Wieringen by walking or by bike through the hilly landscape. You can encounter seals in Oever, which is the initial point for boat trips on the Wadden Sea. Take hiking trips on the trails of Robben Oord Forest, situated to the south of Oever. Visit the town of Helder and other attractions like the Kijkduin Fort and the Harbour Museum in Willemsoord. In Helder, enjoy a ferry ride to Wadden Island of Texel. You can reach North Sea Coast in 30 minutes by car. Some of the cosy seaside resorts on the North Sea, Julianadorp and Callantsoog are worth a visit.
