Summary: This is a stunning, stylish 4 bed house, the perfect base for a family visiting London. With a charming, fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen, and a spacious sitting room, there is space for everyone to relax. The two children's bedrooms are utterly adorable (the single beds fit adults too!) and the king sized bedrooms are smart and sophisticated. Located just 10 minutes from Balham Station, transport couldn't be easier, and there are some excellent restaurants and cafes to explore too! The Space: For guests staying over Christmas, the house will be decorated with a Christmas tree and other decorations! This is a beautiful, sophisticated 4-bed house, with delightful family friendly touches. It is the perfect space for a family or group to stay whilst visiting London. The house features: Ground floor: - Smart and sophisticated sitting room, ideal to relax at the end of a day exploring London. - Fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen with large dining table and adorable children's area, featuring a teepee! - Utility room with washer/dryer and downstairs loo - Garden, perfect for summer sun and a morning coffee First Floor: - The 'pink' room, with two full full size single beds - please note that the crib has been removed. - Family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower - Master bedroom (up a few steps), with divine super-king bed and an ensuite bathroom - bath and seperate shower. Second floor: -'Teepee' bedroom, with full sized single bed - King sized bedroom It is in a fantastic location too, with some fabulous cafes, restaurants, shops and bars at Balham and Tooting, both just 10 minutes walk away. Explore Hildreth Street in Balham for some fantastic cafes, including Brickwood and Milk, or walk to the iconic Tooting Market for some incredible food. Transport wise, exploring the rest of London is easy too. The closest tube station is just 10 minutes away (Balham - Northern Line), or there is a bus stop at the top of the road. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire house, except for the cellar and some cupboards, which will be clearly marked. The Neighborhood: It is in a fantastic location too, with some fabulous cafes, restaurants, shops and bars at Balham and Tooting, both just 10 minutes walk away. Please note that we provide shampoo, shower gel, soap and loo roll for the beginning of your stay and not for the entire duration. Please keep in mind that each home is unique – as you are staying at someone else’s home and not a hotel, the space and amenities will be different at each place. Please treat the home with the respect that you would treat your own, we dedicate a lot of time and care to it, so please respect the rules, the space and the neighbours. We would really appreciate if you tell us about any damage or breakages so that we can deal with these issues as soon as they arise. The property will be prepared by our professional cleaners, using hired hotel-quality linen to prepare the beds. This also includes clean towels, bath mat and a kitchen cloth. For bookings longer than 10 days we charge a mid-stay clean. This is the same cost of the standard cleaning fee and it includes linen and towel change. If you require more cleans please let us know as this can also be arranged. Please check prior to booking if you will be checking in outside check in hours as a charge may apply.
