Villa le Focaie is located south of Siena, deep in the beautiful, unmistakable landscape designed by the hills of the Crete Senesi, and a few kilometres from its most important centre, the delightful historic borgo of Asciano. It is part of a fully air-conditioned, stone-clad historic residence, with a beautiful living room with elegant sofas and large windows that overlook the garden. But it is outside, in the green park that surrounds the house, that guests will wish to linger, in the jasmine-covered loggia that faces the swimming pool set in the peaceful and harmonious country landscape, overlooking the woods and hills. From this quiet location, unmissable tourist attractions of Tuscany, such as Siena, Cortona, Montalcino Pienza, Montepulciano, Chianti and the Val D'Orcia, as well as spa resorts like Rapolano Terme and Bagno Vignoni, are all quickly and easily accessible; less than five kilometres away is the town of Asciano which provides every kind of service and activity. NB: in an annex inside the property live the friendly and discreet owners who will not interfere in any way with the use of the park and swimming pool which are for the exclusive use of the guests. THIS CHECK HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT ON 23th MAY 2021 Interior: The villa has just one floor which is accessed up a short flight of eight steps. The main entrance leads into the large living room organised with sofas and a dining table which leads to the kitchen and the corridor along which are two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms (one with joinable beds), two bathrooms with shower and a bathroom with tub. Air conditioning (except in the kitchen). Park: The villa is set within a property of about thirteen hectares (of which four are fenced-in), mostly intended for agricultural land. The garden, which extends for about 700 sq m around the house, is composed of a gravel surface, that runs along the house and lends itself to a convenient parking area, and a large lawn area, dotted by tall shady trees, in which the pool lies. A few steps from the house exits is the large loggia organised with a table for outdoor dining and a seating area. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa. Swimming Pool: The swimming pool, open from the first Saturday in May to the first Saturday of October, lies in the middle of a large lawn area in front of the house, about 15 m away, and is reached up a flight of steps. It enjoys a picturesque view of the green expanse of woods that extends in front. The rectangular pool measures 6 x 14 m with a varying depth of 1.20 to 2.40 m. Lined in PVC, it has chlorine purification, internal lighting and a ladder for access to the water. Surrounding the pool is the sunbathing area with sunbeds and a large shady pergola with sofas and armchairs. At the guests' disposal is a cold-water shower. Pets: Yes. € 30,00 per animal per week to be paid on site. This rate includes: -Utilities: electricity - water - gas for cooking use - weekly linen, initial and final cleaning - Zer0Dep Guarantee = You do not pay the security deposit on balance or on arrival and you have EuropAssistance coverage in case of accidental damage to the property during your stay (up to the maximum of € 1,500.00 and with the limitations provided). - EuropAssistance insurance to cover penalties in case of cancellation of the stay = In addition to reasons or events that can objectively be documented and could not be foreseen at the time of booking, you can request a rental cancellation when you have to cancel following a positive result from Covid-19 verified by reports, affecting: the Insured Party directly and/or your family members; your Travel Companion directly. - Stay cancellation cover due to lockdown = It protects you and your travel companions in the event that you are forced to cancel your stay in the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, due to the occurrence of Covid-19 epidemic containment measures officially imposed by the Governments/competent authorities.
