It's your choice! In fact, you have many choices of how you can spend your time both whilst you're at Villa on Banksia or whilst your exploring the unique wonders of Loch Sport itself. The Space: Villa on Banksia is a large 2 storey house, however once inside you feel like you are in a Buddhist Den with lots of soothing artifacts and pictures on the walls, soft lighting, lots of nooks and cranny's for you to make your own and yet it also has all the modern conveniences that you could possibly want as well. The house features 4 bedrooms, starting with the Master and Ensuite upstairs...the master bedroom features a Queen size bed, lots of pillows, cushions and a throw rug so climbing into bed feels divine, there is also a tallboy and a large Walk in Robe with spare blankets. You access the ensuite through the WIR, which includes a shower, toilet and vanity. Leading off the master bedroom on the opposite side of the room is a glass sliding door which opens up onto a raised, screened decking area with outdoor table and chairs and a brand new barbecue. There is also access to this area from the back yard as well. This is a wonderful spot to just sit peacefully, listening to the local birdlife and reading a book! The 2nd bedroom upstairs also has a Queen size bed, some lovely wall prints and a bedside lamp. Moving on downstairs, (the staircase is L shape) on the platform where the stairs turn is a door to the back yard. At the bottom of the stairs is a Laundry area which has a front loading washing maching and laundry trough and a bar type bench. This space is also where you enter the house. The 3rd bedroom also comes off this space by way of a glass sliding door. The bedroom has a glass sliding door, with blockout drapes and a triple bunk. In addition there is a tall boy and a coffee table with a lamp and an old TV which is hooked up with an old Nintendo 64 just for game play for the kids. (PLEASE NOTE: You cannot watch television on this set). There is also an external door to the backyard as well. Movng down the hall, you come across the 4th bedroom/Study, which has a Single bed and a fully set up work station with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, so all you need to do is plug in your laptop and you will be working in a desktop environment in next to no time. Other helpful items such as highlighters, pens etc are also available. Turning around to leave this bedroom, you walk into the kitchen...the heart and soul of any home and this kitchen is no different. It is very large and is fully fitted with every modern convenience without losing that Zen feel that the whole house exudes. Beautiful polished timber bench tops , painted cupboards, stainless steel oven, cooktop and rangehood, huge fridge, pantry, double sink, coffee pod machine with a large variety of pods to choose from and a breakfast bar with 4 x bamboo stools to sit up to the bench. The open plan dining and living areas have a real Zen vibe, a beautiful, richly polished timber dining table with bamboo dining chairs, the table fully laid looking spectacular with a complimentary bottle of wine and ready for a wonderful feast or a more casual meal. The wall unit behind the dining table has an assortment of items displayed along with some books and games to be enjoyed when you are wanting some quiet time. Moving around you head towards the living area and there is 2 beautiful couches with cushions and footstools, a beautiful large coffee table and a very large television (please note: The TV does NOT play Free to Air stations). It is a wonderfully comfortable part of the house finished off with a number of prints on the wall and floor to ceiling windows across the whole dining/living area space. The window coverings are roller screen blinds and full block out blinds. Heading outside towards the garage, you will notice the garage is divided in two. One side has a glass front, the other side has a roller door. The glass fronted side is locked and not for guest use, however the roller door side is very exciting as it is home to the Games Room which encompasses a Pool Table, with both Pool and Snooker balls, cues, chalk, scoreboard. A dartboard in a closeable cupboard, TV with Netflix, bar fridge and also a clothes dryer. This is a fantastic place to have some awesome family fun when not at the lake or the beach! The house itself is surrounded by lush, green gardens, fruit trees of many different varieties and very secure fences and gates to ensure that your dog is kept safely in the back yard. Even the smallest dog will not be able to escape, so feel relaxed bringing your fur baby with you. Guest Access: Guest access is contactless. Guests will receive Check in information which will include how to access the property via email 24 hours prior to their arrival date. The Neighborhood: Loch Sport is that little piece of Victoria that is a haven for all things 'water'. Whether it be boating, fishing, (surf or still water) water skiing, kayaking, surfing, sailing, swimming or paddle boarding you can do it in Loch Sport. Envioubly Loch Sport is located between the 90 mile Beach and the magnificent Lake Victoria and as such caters for young families and dare devils trying to catch the biggest waves. But wait, there's more, much more...2 National Parks - Gippsland Coastal Park and the Lakes National Park where you can hike and take in all of natures beauty right along the coast, there is an Art trail throughout the town, a Skate park for the kids, walking paths along Lake Victoria, parks to play in, the Marina where you can spend time checking out the magnificent boats and yachts berthed there. The native flora and fauna abound around Loch Sport, with kangaroo's often stopping by on the front yard, lizards and if you're especially lucky you might get to see the local dolphins. The local eateries are great, with the Marina Hotel providing great local customer service and great food as well, there is the RSL, fish & chips, pizza and the local Foodworks in town. Getting Around: Quite often during the warmer months it's quite usual to see people just walking around the town. It's quite pleasant with plenty of walking paths near the main tourist areas. Of course you can also hop into your car for a more speedy drive to whichever location you plan on going to.
