The Space: Highland House has everything you need to enjoy all that Vermont has to offer from relaxing to being active with a hike or shopping and eating in town. The kitchen is built to make gourmet meals for your friends and family. Amenities such as: fully equipped double oven, electric cooktop, a french door refrigerator and second refrigerator for even more room. Dishwasher, two sinks and , two garbage disposasl make cleaning up a breeze. Kitchen is stocked with all the cooking/serving necessities including: cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. Both a standard coffee pot and Keurig are available for your morning coffee. The eat in kitchen seats 6-8 easily and the separate dining room seats up to 14. Enjoy watching TV or any of the books,games or puzzles in the fully stocked entertainment center. Hotel quality linens and towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are offered to our guests. Outdoors is where the true magic of Vermont comes to light. Our entire 8 acre estate is ready to welcome you. There is plenty of patio furniture, a fire pit, and gas grill. A riverwalk on the property leads to the Hoosic River. Don’t forget your fishing poles! To help you with sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1: one king bed with ensuite with tub/shower combo Bedroom 2: one queen bed Bedroom 3: one queen bed Bedroom 4: two twin beds Bedroom 5: one king bed and one full bed Bedroom 6: one queen bed Four full bathrooms: two on the first floor and two on the second floor including the ensuite master. The bathroom on the first floor has a handicap accessible shower, sink and toilet. Other Things to Note: Important: Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, a digital trust platform. Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. This needs to be completed within 24 hours of you reserving the property. Damage: Your rental includes an accidental reported damage waiver fee up to a maximum of $800. Therefore, the cost to repair any ACCIDENTAL and REPORTED damage to the rented property including any missing or broken items up to a maximum of $800 will be covered at NO CHARGE to you AS LONG AS the damage is reported to your Host before you depart. Any damage we deem to be purposeful or negligent or damage not reported will be charged to you. Please report any damage that you notice when you check-in to avoid getting charged for damage you didn't create. To host a large gathering such as a wedding, please reach to us ahead of booking! All guests to agree to our rental agreement within 24 hours of booking. Part of the agreement: In respect to our home and our neighbors please review and accept our rental agreement. Fines will be assessed, sometimes over your security, if you do not abide by the following rules: -No parties. Fines assessed for additional cleaning, trash removal and property damage. A party is grounds for termination of stay and immediate removal with no refund. -Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside within 50ft or near a window. -No pets allowed -No sublet, and no packages may be sent to the house without host approval. -No refunds to be given for shortened stays and for any cable, internet, WI-FI, heating, cooling, or power outages or other acts of nature. The cleaning fee is to help the cost in cleaning the house for your arrival. At the end of your stay, all beds must be stripped of their linens and towels placed in one neat pile in the laundry area, all trash put into closed sealed trash bags and left in the garage, and all dishes must be put in the dishwasher with the cycle turned on using the provided dishwasher pods. Additionally, all furniture needs to be returned to where it was found. We will charge an additional fee, if the house is found to be left dirty or furniture is not in the same place as when you arrived and if there is excessive trash. If you are booking through VRBO: You agree that The Host will charge your card for the full payment of the stay 24 hours after booking. Any payments by VRBO (service fees) will be charged separately.
