Woods Edge is located at the base of the beautiful Massanutten mountain and is a peaceful escape for families or a small group. This property has an open living area featuring a large screen TV, a comfortable seating area near the stone fireplace, and a well stocked kitchen. The screened porch is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine beside the fire table. The wooded back yard offers space to play yard games (corn hole game provided). You'll appreciate the thoughtful touches throughout this lovely home. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths Bedroom 1: Queen bed Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: Queen bed Bedroom 4: Twin over full bunk All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available. The driveway is flat and can fit up to 2 cars. Additional parking available at Resort public, free lots. SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities. This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.** *Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee, maximum of 2 dogs. *We are not able to honor early check in or late check out requests. *Construction on a new home is occurring next door to Woods Edge. * Please note, there are security cameras on the front and back of the home that monitor the exterior of the house only. They record video and audio based on motion. *This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids.
