The holiday home is just about 400 metres from the pier. You can also travel from Stralsund to Altefähr in just a few minutes by train. There are bicycle rentals in town. You can take a cycling trip around Altefähr, as there are various well-marked cycling trails around town. Rügen Round is a famous cycling path. A cottage village is under construction nearby in 2015 and 2016, hence there might be construction activities in the neighbourhood. There will not be any construction activities in summer.
