Located within a 5 minute drive from both Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Downtown Revelstoke, you get peace & privacy as well as convenience - the best of both worlds. The 3500 sq foot lodge is spacious and modern, spread over 3 floors with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a large loft space with incredible views. The loft has two twin beds on one side, creating a 5th bedroom space to accommodate larger groups up to 10 people. Stay warm & cozy while watching the snow fall with in-floor radiant heating in the beautiful cherry hardwood floors throughout the home. The open-concept living & dining area features a 10 foot live-edge, locally made Fir dining table for enjoying meals together. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking gourmet, family style meals and coffee lovers can happily sip on a morning espresso. We know a good night's sleep is important, especially in this adventure paradise. Each bed features a firm memory foam mattress and high quality linens with duvets for a cozy & deep sleep. The bedrooms all have built-in closets and modern mountain decor with local art. The Master bedroom has mountain views & french doors opening onto the upper deck. The Master en-suite features a deep soaker tub & walk-in rain shower. There is a separate laundry room with XL washer & dryer and a storage room for any extra gear. The top floor is currently set up as a stretching area, with yoga mats, foam rollers, bolsters, blocks & massage balls to support the body after long days on the mountain. You will also have access to an extra-large, heated garage which leads directly into the house. Perfect for storing gear & sleds. We provide several boot dryers for quick drying boots & gear during the winter. The property backs on to dense, mature forest - incredibly quiet and peaceful. You can snowshoe or XC ski on trails right from the backyard or just enjoy being amongst the evergreens. Why Painted Turtle Lodge? Interestingly enough, Revelstoke is home to a brightly coloured, endangered turtle species - the Western Painted Turtle. The turtles migrate twice yearly and this migration takes place at the end of our street where turtle sightings and crossings are a common occurrence in the spring time.
