Holiday house in the Luberon in the countryside, private pool
1610 ft² house for 6 persons with 2 bedrooms, 1 mezzanine and 2 bathrooms Just 3 km from Saint-Martin-de-Castillon, a pleasant village which entices you with its lavender fields and ideally located between Luberon and Durance, this large property has a surprising view over Grand Luberon Mountain. You are 18 km from Apt, famous for its candied fruits. The Provencal Colorado in Rustrel (15 km) is a landscape of fantastic colours and shapes which invites you to go hiking to discover the traces from the ochre workers. For rock climbing, the Luberon chalk cliffs are much appreciated by climbers. Behind the house a shed exists for the personal objects of the owners, and poses no inconvenience. The house was built on a 40 hectare property in the middle of the countryside, where you can walk where you like. Opposite the swimming pool, the lounge opens its doors onto the 60 m2 terrace, shaded from the sun by reeds and Virginia creepers in this eating area, and on the side, the covered terrace shades a beautiful garden room. For more privacy, the exterior part of the swimming pool side is surrounded by a small wall and enjoys a remarkable calm and a limitless view of the Luberon. The small forged iron gates allow this part of the property to be entirely fenced off. A pleasant no-frills house, where the view, the size of the property and the outdoors are the strong points of this ideal place for a holiday far from the daily grind. The ground floor is made up of a kitchen/dining area, a cellar/laundry room, a shower room with a WC and a lounge/dining room with a 140 cm sofa bed, for those who would rather not use the mezzanine out of convenience. Upstairs you will find the first bedroom with a large double bed where a staircase is leading up to the mezzanine which has also a double bed. The second bedroom has a double bed too. There is also another shower room and a separate WC.
