Welcome to Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast. This luxury beachfront accommodation is the ideal setting for couples looking for a romantic seaside escape in one of Sydney’s most beautiful places. Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast sits right on the beach and just metres away from the Royal National Park. You get the best of both worlds with breathtaking scenery of the ocean and native Australian bushland. Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast is only 1 hours’ drive from both Sydney’s CBD and the City of Wollongong and has all the comforts you need for a perfect break. It is a modern, open plan, self-contained studio with a relaxed and fresh coastal style. It is accessed via its own entry with off-street parking. Guests that choose to travel to Bundeena by public transport are welcome to get picked up on arrival at Bundeena Ferry Wharf. The studio features a Queen-size bed with luxury bed linen and an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and bathroom amenities. Luxury bath towels and beach towels are provided. There is a kitchenette with a sink, stone bench top, small fridge, microwave, dishwasher, egg-boiler, kettle, toaster, crockery, glassware, table linen and cutlery. Self-catered breakfast provisions such as tea, coffee, milk, eggs, cereal, bread, butter and jam are included. There is a small dining table and chairs, TV & DVD player with DVDs, split system air-conditioner, block out privacy blinds and much more. Outside is an expansive desk with breathtaking views of the beach, bay, bush and city skyline. The deck has direct access to the beach and features an outdoor shower, 2 sun loungers, an outdoor dining setting and a BBQ - cooking utensils, salt, pepper, mixed herbs and oil are provided. THINGS TO DO: Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast gives you the opportunity to enjoy the diverse bush-to-beach landscape at your own leisure. The deck at Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast is the perfect place to start your day watching the sun rise and the perfect place to finish your day watching the sun set over the bay. During the day kick back and enjoy a BBQ with a view. Relax and enjoy the sun on Jibbon Beach itself or go for a swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters at Jibbon Beach and nearby Gunyah Beach, Horderns Beach or Bonnie Vale. The water is also idyllic for some fun on kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. Explore the numerous bush tracks and coastal tracks in the Royal National Park which all offer stunning views of the ocean, Hacking River or native bushland. You can see the humpback whales during migration season between May – November and dolphins along the coastal tracks. You can also see native wildlife and many bird species such as ospreys and sea eagles that frequent the area along the bush tracks. From Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast you can walk to some of the most iconic landmarks in the Royal National Park including Wedding Cake Rock, the Figure 8 Pools and Eagle Rock. Wander the Bundeena Maianbar Art Trial and the Bundeena Saltwater Markets on the first Sunday of every month to see the work of local Bundeena and Maianbar artists. From Jibbon Beach you can walk along a short path to one of the best preserved Aboriginal rock art sites in Sydney. Jibbon headland was once home to the Dharawal people. Now, you can see their Aboriginal rock carvings which date back over a thousand years from a viewing platform at Jibbon headland. Enjoy the picturesque Port Hacking River on a Scenic Cruise or take a ferry ride to Cronulla for some afternoon drinks. There are many bike trails in the Royal National Park. After a scenic and leisurely cycle along Lady Carrington Drive or a more challenging cycle along the diverse terrain on Loftus Loop Trail, stop off at the Weir Café for a bite to eat or unroll a blanket for a picnic lunch at Audley picnic grounds. You can also eat out at one of Bundeena’s local cafes or restaurants. PLEASE NOTE: • Regrettably our facilities are not suitable for children (under 18 years) or pets. • The studio is not accessible by wheelchair. • The studio is attached to the main house with its own private space. • The studio has its own external entrance and its own gate which leads directly onto the beach.
