The original home was built in 1996 and has been a much-loved holiday destination for family, friends, and guests over the years. It offers a warm open plan environment with ocean views from every room. The recently completed Pool House, adjacent to Wave Hill house, showcases modern luxuries, high ceilings, sauna, natural light, private nooks, and open deck spaces alongside a stunning mineral swimming pool. Wave Hill House: This architecturally designed home will welcome you from the moment you arrive with its floating curved balcony overlooking the village and Seven Mile Beach. The sweeping spiral staircase takes you from the entrance up to the open plan living area where you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. The wrap around balcony offers panoramic views of the waves rolling into the shore with Byron Bay lighthouse visible on the far peninsula. An extendable dining table seating 8 to 12 guests is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and watch sunsets. The master bedroom to the East has an ensuite with spa bath and shower, walk in robe, lounge, and TV while the Western wing is home to a Queen room also with an ensuite and children’s bedroom with separate bathroom. High ceilings, natural light, private nooks, and open spaces create this unique luxury escape. Entering through the kitchen you will feel amongst the elements with the glass bifold opened for alfresco cooking, of course these can also be closed when required. From here you step through to the dining area, which is perfect for windy or cooler evenings, this space shares a double sided gas fireplace with the adjacent media room and boasts a rosewood mantelpiece. The bunk room adjoins this area, and you can walk through the ensuite to the deck and pool as it serves both areas. The sunroom, lined with corrugated rosewood and velvet cushioned seating, invites you to curl up with a good book and cup of tea while taking in the view of the trees and ocean yonder.
