The 7 km long Dümmer See is a great area for anglers and due to its good water quality and the shallow sandy beach it is also a wonderful bathing lake - even for the very youngest holiday home guests. In the state capital you can breathe in the city air and discover a lot of interesting and worth seeing things. The castle with the castle garden, the Schwerin Cathedral or the Schwerin State Theater are absolutely worthwhile excursion destinations. Of course, you can also simply stroll through the shops and have a good time with a coffee in the sun.
