Zen Retreat at Massanutten Resort offers the perfect spot to get away and relax. This property offers a serene outdoor setting to help you slow down and enjoy nature. The simple design creates a calm environment to unwind. The main level living room and lower level recreation room allow space for your family to spread out. Enjoy meals on the back deck overlooking the beautiful tree filled backyard or relax in the outdoor living room on the patio. Curl up in front of the wood burning fireplace in the living room. Unwind by the firepit in the backyard during the evening. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths Bedroom 1: Main level, king bed, ensuite bath Bedroom 2: Main level, king bed Bedroom 3: Downstairs, 2 queen beds Bedroom 3: Downstairs, queen bed All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available. The driveway fits 2-4 cars. Additional vehicles may be parked in resort lots. The garage at this home is not available for guests. SURROUNDING AREA The house is an 8 minute drive to the ski area and about 2 minutes from the water park. Two golf courses are easily accessible and Painter's Pond is a short drive if you're in the mood for catch-and-release fishing. Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities. This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You'll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.** *This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids.
