Other things to note There are numerous takeaways within walking distance by the Corner shops on Alderman Rd and Archerhill Rd, The Knightswood Retail Park Hosts multiple cafes and takeaways. The Clyde Shopping Centre and Great Western Retail Park will cover all your needs for more of the chains : McDonalds, BurgerKing, Nandos, KFC, Costa, Starbucks, Greggs, as well as multiple stand-alone places. Dumbarton Road has a good selection of Bars and Restaurants. But my best recommendations would be to go into the West End or the City Centre where you have also unlimited options for Pubs, Bars, Restaurants, and Coffee shops. Every single one of them is great. Some great bars in the West End include all the ones in the Ashton Lane, Inn Deep, The Record Factory, Bauhaus, The Parlour, The Hillhead BookClub, Oran Mor. For food Paesanos is a must try, La Vita Spuntini, Eshusi, Café Andaluz, The Butchershop and Grill, Brgr for a quick burger, Bucksbar in the city centre for a great chicken burger, India Quay. For Coffee, Offshore, Tinderbox, Tchai Ovna, S’Mug, Papercup, Kothel they do great cakes too!, Absolute Roasters. These are just to name but a few of my favorites but I have yet to find a place that I’ve disliked or heard of one. The options really are endless! The best takeaway near here is Ho’s Chinese. I hope you have a great time!
