This is a little, old converted flour mill with three foot thick walls and original beams. It is also in the countryside (a very short walk to the river Camel and close to open fields) and so please be sure that you are comfortable with an old property of character and quirks, that has been refurbished to a comfortable and cosy standard, before booking. Camelford is an old trading village close to many brilliant Cornish sightseeing spots and coastline, but it is a historic village with a mixture of different shops, light industry and services and so please do explore the area ahead of considering the Mill. The Mill is suitable for 8 guests. 7 adults/ children and 1 infant (travel cot provided upon request). The Mill is over two floors with an open plan living - dining area with open fire, a well resourced kitchen, three bedrooms, a shower room and balcony. The property has a superking bedroom, a double bedroom and a bunk room with a double bed and single over it. There is a shower room and two separate toilets. There are sinks in the two main bedrooms. Please note that there is no bath. Two small or medium size dogs are welcome but they should not go onto the furniture please. The balcony is off of the double bedroom with furniture for 4 to be seated. The dining area seats 8 off the main sitting area (open plan space). The tableware provided is Denby. The Mill has predominantly whitewashed floor boards throughout, is furnished with a light and airy decor and soft furnishings, towels, bedding and decor are predominantly from Next, Weavergreen and Abigail Ahern. Please note that beyond the front door there are a number of steps up into the open plan living area and is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs. Please also note that the space is suitable for babies but if you have cruising babies or toddlers the space has several stairways that are not possible to stair gate and so toddler safety is at the parents discretion and no liability is taken by The Mill. One parking space is provided but there is additional free and paid parking nearby. The Mill is a cosy retreat in the middle of a lovely village with plenty of countryside walks from the front door and great amenities locally and beyond. I look forward to being your host and answering any questions you may have.
