Inverness Glamping offers the very latest in glamping pod experience. Each pod sleeps up to 4 people (1 double bed and bunk beds) with all towels and linen provided for your convenience. In your pod you have your one shower and WC and your own decking area with outdoor furniture. You also have access to our very own 'Bothy'. Here you will find an eating area (we respectfully ask that food is not consumed in the pods themselves), a fridge, microwave and dishwashing facilities. There is also a range of local tourist information and tips to ensure you get the most out of your trip to the Highlands and our home. You can also choose to dine alfresco on your very own decking area with views over to the Black Isle (Maggie grew up there) and to the mountains in the west. If you are lucky you might catch one of our beautiful evening skies at sunset! Inverness Glamping is perfectly situated for access to a range of attractions near by and easy access to main travel routes should you fancy exploring further afield. Within a 5 minute drive you have Culloden Battlefield - the site of the brutal battle in 1746. Past here you will find Clava Cairns - an ancient Pictish burial site and also film location for the popular Outlander series! You can dolphin spot on the Black Isle either by boat from Inverness or by the 30 minute drive to Chanonry Point, Fortrose where you can watch them feed at high tide. Always exciting! Last but not least, 20 minutes drive away lives our Nessie! She usually appears, especially in springtime! There is ample parking and for the more energetic among you, secure bicycle storage. The NC 500 route is very popular. We also rent our small holiday cottage (room only) on site and have had guests using this as a base from which to explore the NC500 or as a stop off point on their route north, hooking up to the route in Inverness. We want you to have the best possible time in the Highlands so any questions are warmly welcome The Hume family warmly welcome you to Inverness Glamping. Our modern glamping Pods sleep 2 adults and 2 smaller people (1 double bed and bunk beds) with all towels and linen provided for your convenience. Each has a shower and WC and your own decking area with outdoor furniture and barbecue. You can enjoy views over to the Black Isle (Maggie grew up there) and to the mountains in the west. If you are lucky you might catch one of our beautiful evening skies at sunset! You also have access to the 'Bothy'. This is a communal area where you will find an eating area, a fridge, microwave and dishwashing facilities. We respectfully ask that food is not consumed in the pods at any time. All guests have use of the fire pit (during June, July and August use of fire pit is restricted to after 7pm), with firewood provided. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Out of respect to other guests and neighbours we operate a strict 10pm noise curfew. We warmly welcome guests who will comply with this. If you are looking to 'party into the night' we are not the site for you and would be happy to recommend other more suitable venues. Anyone breeching this will be asked to leave with no refund offered. Sorry to sound so strict but we have learned from experience that subtlety does not work in this instance.
