Please note: No children under 3 years old and no Wi-Fi.. This peaceful lodge is situated in Martindale, Ullswater in the Lake District National Park and provides the perfect holiday retreat. With many walks direct from your doorstep, or a short drive away, be sure to pack your outdoor kit. Ullswater is just down the road, where you will be able to attempt the 11 mile Ullswater way walk around the water, or why not stop off a little earlier at Glenridding and enjoy a steamer cruise on the water back to Pooley Bridge? Before you return you may wish to enjoy one of the fantastic local pubs or restaurants. You will soon see for yourselves why so many people flock to this spectacular part of the country. Shop 3¾ miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles. No children under 3 allowed. You can unload directly outside, then parking is 250 yards away by the church or down by the stream - the walk between is on an incline. Property no longer offers WIFI.
