Anjani Villa - Great 5 Bedroom Beachfront Villa

Villa Anjani is a great 5 bedroom villa set on small low-tide beach near Candidasa in East Bali. It has stunning views across the bay to Nusa Penida and a perfectly shaded courtyard pool. There is fantastic snorkelling on the coral reef, right in front of the villa and guests can make use of 2 kayaks [shared with our neighbouring villa]. The beautiful little Mendira beach, and its laid back bars and restaurants, is only a few minutes walk away. An ideal home for families and friends who want to experience a more traditional Bali. There is a large garden area which is ideal for kids to run around; and there with steps down to the private sandy beach at low-tide. There are also long piers on which to walk when the tide is in and you wish to dive and swim in deeper water. PLEASE NOTE *We must add that there is an un-fenced drop from the retaining seawall at Villa Anjani into the sea of about 3 meters and that we do not yet have a pool fence installed at the property. The villa is safe and secure but please be aware of this factor. With young children our staff are always on hand to help with care and safety if you require* We access a beautiful white sand beach in Mendira village by a short walk through the quiet lanes; it takes just 5 minutes to make the walk. The beach is quiet and the shallow calm water is ideal for young children. The plentiful coral-reef is great for those who love marine life and we provide some basic gear and also two kayaks. A secluded courtyard swimming pool makes Villa Anjani an escape-like dream for families, couples and friends. Villa Anjani has 5 bedrooms, comprising 3 doubles and 2 twins - which can be made into double rooms. There are four rooms in the pool pavilion; the two rooms on the second floor share a shower & bathroom and so can be most suited to a family group with younger children, as you access the second bedroom [a master with sea view] from the first [a twin]. The 2 rooms are separated by a short corridor where you will find a full bathroom & shower and also a large walk in wardrobe. Two double rooms make up the lower floor. Bedroom five is in the garden pavilion and is accessed by a spiral staircase. The courtyard style pool allows good connection between all the rooms and the focal point of social gathering. Villa Anjani is fully serviced, and the staff are happy to prepare meals and serve you drinks throughout the day. The villa also has a fully equipped chef's kitchen and an outdoor dining area perfect for entertaining. This is just a great villa and ideal for one big family; two small families, or a gathering of close friends. We offer some daycare and evening babysitting if adults wish to have an evening out [a small gratuity for babysitting after 8pm is added to the bill but is an optional payment]. Our cook will provide you with delicious meals at a price on par with local restaurants, but with a higher degree of quality. There are oceanfront restaurants which are an easy walk away and provide a nice social atmosphere. There are also many to choose from in Candidasa just a few minutes drive away. Taxis are very cheap and efficient and motorcycle hire is available if you are comfortable riding. Around the villa there are loads of things to do. For those who love to soak in the local culture, the fascinating Bali Aga walled village of Tenganan is just 3km away. Candidasa Temple, and the Goa Lawah bat temple are a short drive away, and the water palaces at Tirta Gangga, the royal palace at Klungkung and the Balinese mother temple Besakih are all an easy drive away. For the kids there are many the temple ceremonies, and farm animals, as well as more modern attractions are close by including Bali Safari and Marine Park (30 mins); Submarine Rides (15 mins); Elephant Trekking (40 mins).' We think it is helpful to provide a Pros and Cons for all our villas, so here they are for our lovely Villa Anjani: Pros:  Directly on a small white sand beach in a quiet location. This is probably the best beach for swimming, and definitely for snorkeling.  Some bars and restaurants are a pleasant few minutes walk from the villa as wells as other really nice shallow beaches.  Picturesque local village and nice walks nearby  Great snorkeling in front of villa & diving easy to arrange  Attractions nearby include Submarine; Bali Safari & Marine Park; Tirta Gangga Water Palace; Tenganan Medieval Walled Village; Bat Cave Temple and local village life.  Beachfront location means Villa Anjani enjoys cool breezes most of the year.  The villa has a courtyard design that offers greater privacy and seclusion, while still offering great views out over the ocean. Cons  Candidasa has nice laid-back restaurants and bars, some with live music, but there are far less shopping or special going out options here than in Seminyak/Kuta area.  Day trips to Seminyak/Kuta etc. are easy to arrange, but take 90 minutes’ drive each way.  The two rooms on the second storey share a bathroom, and also to access the main double bedroom, it is necessary to walk through the first room. Great set up for small kids, but less ideal for groups comprising entirely adults.
