This wonderful three-bedroom apartment has been recently painted and furnished by vacation rental experts, everything you need to enjoy some time away. The Space: Everything you need to enjoy the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. In the living room you can enjoy watching TV after a day of exploring. The smart TV has the ability for you to connect your streaming apps to enjoy your shows. True dining room with seating for all eight of your guests. Vintage kitchen with everything you need to make gourmet meals for your friends and family. Amenities such as: gas cooktop, large oven, refrigerator and a dishwasher, to make cleaning up a breeze. Kitchen is stocked with all the cooking/serving necessities including: cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. A coffee pot is available for your morning coffee. The eat in kitchen has seating for up to 4 and a built-in desk. The one bathroom has a stand up shower, no tub. Outdoors there is a small deck and backyard for you to enjoy, which is shared with the upstairs neighbors. Guest Access: You'll have full access to the space, which is stocked with essential toiletries, towels and linens. An iron, ironing board, and hair dryer are also available for use. The Neighborhood: Jamaica Plain is a quiet, tree lined street neighborhood in Boston. The apartment itself is centrally located near bus and train lines for easy commuting, only a 3 minute walk from many tasty restaurants and bars including Tres Gatos and Canary Square and a 6 minute walk to Whole Foods, Across the street is the Curley School with a wonderful playground that is open to the public after school hours. You will be a few blocks from beautiful Jamaica Pond with easy walking paths around it, and 1-2 miles from the Arboretum, the Franklin Park Zoo, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Getting Around: Although seeing Boston by foot, is easy in a location so central, we are located near numerous buses and trains too. Quick 3 minute walk to pick up the 39 Bus bus to get to Downtown Boston or Back Bay or a 12 minute walk to Stony Brook on the Orange Line for easy commuting to just about anywhere! Other Things to Note: Important: Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG, a digital trust platform. Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. This needs to be completed within 24 hours of you reserving the property. Damage: Your rental includes an accidental reported damage waiver fee up to a maximum of $800. Therefore, the cost to repair any ACCIDENTAL and REPORTED damage to the rented property including any missing or broken items up to a maximum of $800 will be covered at NO CHARGE to you AS LONG AS the damage is reported to your Host before you depart. Any damage we deem to be purposeful or negligent or damage not reported will be charged to you. Please report any damage that you notice when you check-in to avoid getting charged for damage you didn't create. The owners of the apartment you will be staying in live upstairs with their family. They furnished the home for you to enjoy. They ask in return that you respect their privacy by following the following rental agreement: -No additional guests without host approval. The apartment can sleep up to 8 guests. We charge $15 per GUEST per NIGHT for each guest after 6. This is for sleeping and non sleeping guests. We require a final headcount by 48 hours before your stay. --No parties, partying, general rowdiness or events. Fines assessed for additional cleaning, trash removal and property damage. A party is grounds for termination of stay and immediate removal with no refund. -You may use the back yard. However, all guests must be indoors and off any exterior spaces by 8PM. This is not a curfew so you can come and go from town as you wish, you just cannot hang outside of the apartment past 8pm. -Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and within 50ft of the outside. After 8PM, smoking should be done individually to keep noise down. -No pets, no sublet, and no packages may be sent to the apartment without host approval. -No refunds to be given for shortened stays and for any cable, internet, WI-FI, heating, cooling, or power outages or other acts of nature. Finally, the cleaning fee is to help the cost in cleaning the apartment for your arrival. At the end of your stay, all beds must be stripped of their linens, towels placed in one neat pile, all trash put into bags and left either in the bins outside (until full) then inside the kitchen, and all dishes must be done. Additionally, all furniture needs to be returned to where it was found. We will charge an additional fee, if the apartment is found to be left dirty or furniture is not in the same place as when you arrived. If you are booking through VRBO: You agree that The Host will charge your card for the full payment of the stay 24 hours after booking. Any payments by VRBO (service fees) will be charged separately.
