The Space: This modern beach house has a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steal appliances and a large free-standing gas stove and oven. The open plan living area is a relaxing space with a comfortable day bed, making the area the perfect spot for conversing or extending the entertainment out onto the large deck or laze and watch the Television. The property has three bedrooms, the master upstairs with a queen bed and ensuite. The other two bedrooms are located downstairs, one having a double bed and the other a queen. The main bathroom is also located on this level and offers a large shower and separated toilet. Bedding is provided at the property, but guests are required to supply their own linen. This includes, pillow slips, doona covers, sheets and towels. Please note, Smoking is strictly prohibited and there is a 7 night minimum over the summer period. Due to the split level of the house, this property is not suitable for toddlers or anyone with physical impairments. STRICTLY NO PETS PERMITTED AT THIS PROPERTY. STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES or BUCKS/HENS NIGHTS. We do not cater for parties. While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. We apologize if this causes inconvenience. Guest Access: You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys. The Neighborhood: Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approx. 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory. The property is located close to the Ocean beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. At Sandy Point there is a Surf Lifesaving club which patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events. Launch a boat from Shallow Inlet for or enjoy kite surfing & jet skiing (not supplied). The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, boat hire, petrol, gas, alcohol and an Australia Post outlet. Paradise Point Café is the only Café is town and has snacks, sit down & takeaway meals, a beer garden, live entertainment over summer. A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade. Playgrounds & public BBQ areas are located next to the Sandy Point Hall. Tennis courts are located behind the Sandy Point hall and equipment can be hired from the General Store. The Sandy Point Hall hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer. If you are staying at Port Welshpool you are very close to the world famous Port Welshpool Long Jetty, and the departure jetty for cruises to Wilson's Prom, as well as Port Albert and other towns. If you are staying at Fish Creek or Waratah Bay, it's only a short trip to Meeniyan, driving on some of the most picturesque country roads in South Gippsland. If you are staying in Toora, you are only 20 minutes from Foster, and surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of South Gippsland. Getting Around: Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquility of Sandy Point. The Sandy Point milk bar provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop. Interaction with Guests: Interaction with guests is usually by email and phone, however, we do have offices in Sandy Point and Foster.
