Radcliffe Camera/Bodleian Library: One of Oxford’s most iconic sights. The main research library of the University, with over 12 million items and is one of the oldest libraries in Europe! Great views of the exterior can be obtained from St. Mary's Church. Punting: Popular leisure activity involving hiring a boat and a pole then heading up/down the rivers of Cherwell & Isis. PARKING Unfortunately parking isn't available on premises but hopefully with the train station, bus station and city centre such a short walk away, this won't be needed. If so, there is a small, public, paid carpark at the end of the road (2 minute walk) or a bigger public paid car park called Seacourt Park and Ride (12 minute walk). We also highly recommend checking out Justpark online for affordable, local spaces. HEALTH & FIRE SAFETY No stair gates available. Fire extinguisher on each floor, first aid kit in kitchen, smoke detectors in each room. My fantastic property management team and I will be available 24/7 via email, or phone to provide any assistance you may need. - No parties or extra guests please - Please NO candles, smoking or BBQ's. - Respect the neighbours by keeping the noise down, no noise after 10pm - No shoes inside - When leaving the property please make sure you lock the front door and windows and back door if applicable - If a guest locks themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a £50 fee will apply - If a guest loses or breaks a set of keys, a £100 fee will apply - Please make sure rubbish instructions are followed correctly, including using correct bin bags and taking outside in time for rubbish collection day - Kitchen - please wash up after yourself LOCAL ESSENTIALS At the top of the road (1 min walk) is a deli and green grocer. There is a large Waitrose supermarket just a 4 minute walk away and an ALDI supermarket 14 minute walk away. Oxford town centre and shops is a 10-15 minute walk away and has everything you need, post office, ATMs, pharmacies, hairdressers, gym etc. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS Aldens fish market is open every day, and is really excellent - 8 minutes' walk. Botley Farmer's market is open on Saturdays. The treacle well at Church of St. Margaret of Antioch in Binsey was inspiration for part of Alice in Wonderland. Botley Road has several larger shops, Home Bargains is always worth a visit (10 min walk).
