Beautifully restored holiday house which is part of an authentic 18th-century grange on a 4,5-hectare estate with a vineyard. The original architecture of the grange has been preserved and the interior offers plenty of light, air and space. This is a very comfortable accommodation and the helpful owners will do their very best to assist you. On the southwest side of the accommodation you will find an extensive shared terrace (separated by hedges for privacy). You also have access to a protected, heated swimming pool (9 x 4.5 m) with a jet stream, a sun terrace and a poolhouse with a shower, toilet and storage area. You share the pool with the tenants of the other holiday home. The house is 2.5 km from the charming little village of Rieux-Minervois, which is close to the famous 'Canal du Midi' (9 km). Wonderful hiking routes follow this canal and you also have the option to rent a boat. The Roman town of Narbonne is 35 km away, while the medieval town of Carcassonne is 25 km away. The Languedoc-Roussillon is known for its charming beach resorts, centuries-old fishing harbours and luxurious marinas. Well-known towns in the area include Montpellier, Narbonne, Nîmes and Perpignan.
