Aegis Villa - a real comfy cool place to stay and call your base, minutes away from the Marina, Rodney Bay & beaches in the north of the island. Whether you are single, a couple, a family, groups of friends or business travelers Aegis is perfect for you. We are so excited to be able to welcome guests again. Aegis is Government Covid Certified to accept vaccinated guests only. We also offer excellent long term rates for 1 - 6 months or more. Inquire about the rates we can offer you to enjoy a longer stay. Our rates are based on bedroom occupancy. Though we ask for a minimum booking of 7 nights, if there are 5 nights available on the calendar please message us for availability. Aegis is situated close to the Marina which has great restaurants and relaxed atmosphere. Close to Rodney Bay and the malls/supermarkets. Hosted by a Super Host this 2000 sq ft. top level of a 2 story house has stunning views views of the Caribbean Sea, the Marina and Pigeon Island. Located on a private residential road, this home has its own gated entrance with covered garage right at the front door. Location is key with this property being just 2 minutes drive to the Marina & Rodney Bay. Decorated in Caribbean style with 3 bedroom/2 bath and large outdoor veranda to enjoy the stunning views and sunsets, this top floor property located at the top of the hill has lots of cool breezes to enjoy. For your arrival we put in a comp fruit basket and the kitchen will have condiments such as salt and pepper, cooking oil etc. We recommend you either stop at the supermarket on your drive up or if you are with our taxi driver. If you are arriving after supermarket hours, we can put in the basics for your arrival such as eggs, bread, butter, juice, water, beer if needed. The tap water is safe to drink. Otherwise, the local bus stop is on the main road about a10 minutes walk from the house and the ride to malls and supermarkets is a few minutes approximately EC$2.50 one way. There are taxis available in the Marina and Rodney Bay. A walk from the house to the Marina is approximately 15 minutes. At the entrance to the property there is an electric gate, the property is gated and fenced, parking available in open sided covered garage right at your front door. Garbage collection days are Monday and Thursday - just a matter of putting the bin out on the side of the road before 9am as sometimes the truck comes early, then bringing it back in later on. All bedrooms/lounge & Kitchen are all mosquito screened. Bedrooms are all have AC with new inverter AC units. Bedroom 1 - 2 single beds - (note that we can make this up as a king bed) - AC & Ceiling fan - large windows Bedroom 2 - queen bed - AC & Ceiling fan - large windows with good cupboard space. Bedroom 1 and 2 share large spacious bathroom, shower is pebble stoned with rain shower Bedroom 3 - king bed, ensuite bathroom with his & her sinks , very large pebble stone rain shower. Spacious shelves and cupboards. AC in the bedroom & ceiling fan. There is a small balcony. Two drawer lockable cabinet with key - an old one but does the job. All linens are provided as well as beach towels and beach chairs. Housekeeping service is on departure if the booking is for one week. Housekeeping service is available once a week for 2 week to monthly bookings. Either the housekeeper or the Owner will meet you on arrival or self check in is possible with keys left under the mat. Owner suggests being in touch by Whatsapp prior to arrival and while on island. There are notes in the house as to Wi-Fi password, recommended restaurants and places to go.
