Potato Point is a tiny coastal village set in the Eurobodalla National Park approximately 9 kilometres east of Bodalla NSW. This little known enclave offers 5 pristine beaches at your doorstep in a magical bush setting. Surfing, swimming and fishing are minutes from your door. Short bush walks will take you to lagoons, lakes, creeks and rivers abundant with wildlife. Most evenings there will be a mob of Kangaroos or Wallabies mowing the lawn, and Emus are regulars walking the streets and beaches. Black Swans, nest on the lagoon just across the road, and a stunning array of native birds visit the yard. Possums and Bandicoots, nature abounds. This is a true bush experience.....with all the mod cons of course. Nearby Bodalla, approx 10 minute drive has two service stations, pub and bowling club both offering great food. Malt Man Brewery, Bodalla Bakery, The Dairy Shed, Hippie Sticks, and the historic All Saints Church are also popular local places to visit. Main shopping centres are; South to Dalmeny approx 18 mins or Narooma approx 25 mins drive. North to Moruya approx 30 mins or Batemans Bay 45 mins drive. About the house Number 8 is a hardwood pole construction home, aka a giant tree house, clad entirely with an array of exotic timbers and adorned with leadlight windows. A generous open plan living with four double bedrooms and two bathrooms, this character filled home offers an experience rather than mere accommodation. There is nothing like it. A family home built in 1987, this wonderful big old shack has had a spruce up and is ready for the most discerning holiday makers. A little more detail. Downstairs has a large open plan living/kitchen/dining, laundry and second bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooking, large fridge plus second fridge in laundry, dishwasher, microwave, electric frypan, sandwich press, kettle, toaster, plenty of cutlery and crockery, and there is a BBQ on the kitchen verandah looking onto the lush, private sun drenched backyard. Slow combustion wood stove in the sunken living room will keep you cozy during the winter months. Upstairs offers a large second living room and four double bedrooms, two of which have private north facing balconies. Three queen bedrooms, one double bed and three single beds in the bunk room plus main bathroom with separate WC. All Linen is provided, please BYO beach towels. Parking for three cars on driveway only. The entire house is available for use except for the garage.
