Wadebridge is 7 miles where you can cycle or walk the popular Camel Trail. Also within easy reach are the many seaside resorts on the north coast of Cornwall including Newquay with its famous surfing beaches, zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium or up the coast to Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur and Boscastle with its pretty harbour. Due to building work on a new development of homes in the field in front of Freefolk, there are builders vehicles which arrive around 7.30am to this site (the access which they use, is on the site itself, but runs fairly close to the bottom of Freefolk garden). The access road will have work traffic from vehicles used on the building site, as the access road is being shared during the construction. This work is set to continue until Summer 2022.
