This newly renovated and furnished Zen house, designed with inspiration from the wabi-sabi aesthetic, is nestled within a tranquil Buddhist temple retreat in the Catskills. YOU WILL HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THE 155 ACRES TEMPLE RETREAT REGION! Enjoy this unique experience of a calm and blissful break from the busy city with family or friends. Joy Cottage opens up to a gorgeous view of our East Pond, home to a variety of wildlife and a man-made island with a Buddha statue and waterfall. All SIX BEDROOMS HAVE ENSUITE BATHROOMS! Three of the bedrooms face the pond. Two of them have independent, ramp-accessible entrances and cannot be accessed from the main part of the house. The large dining table seats up to 8 people. There is a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, pressure cooker, dishwasher, and just about everything else you need including cookware and silverware. A pour-over coffee set, water kettle, and tea bags are provided. Bring your own coffee. Other conveniences include central air conditioning, a laundry room, plenty of closet space, and areas for storage. WiFi is available throughout the house.
